The Seminar House Moringen is located in a picturesque setting in southern Lower Saxony, just 3 km from the small town of Moringen. The building – the former “Stenneberg´s mill”, constructed in half-timbered style – has been owned by the Brahma Kumaris since 2016 and has been renovated and expanded since then. It offers accommodation for approximately 50 guests in single or double rooms. Two larger seminar rooms and two group rooms in the main building, as well as a large event space in the “Auditorium”, provide groups with the opportunity to conduct workshops and seminars. The Auditorium is also suitable for concerts, lectures or exhibitions.

The seminar house features a large outdoor area with a “Garden of Silence,” an orchard, and a substantial vegetable garden, along with many pleasant seating areas. The surrounding area invites visitors to enjoy relaxing walks through forests and meadows. A solar and photovoltaic system, along with a heat pump, ensures a sustainable supply of electricity and hot water.

We offer a varied programme for people interested in Raja Yoga meditation and philosophy, whether they are beginners or already familiar with it. The programme includes seminars for those wishing to learn meditation or deepen their personal practice, as well as silence retreats for cultivating inner contemplation.

Spiritual seminars that focus on the application of Raja Yoga in daily life cover topics such as women and leadership, inner balance, conflict resolution, community building, and appreciative interaction.

Practical weekends, known as “Karma Yoga,” are also very popular. They provide the opportunity to spend a weekend in a meditative atmosphere, well-catered with vegetarian/vegan meals, while collaboratively assisting with practical tasks, such as gardening or woodworking.

All events are offered on a donation basis. All those dedicated to running the seminar house work on a voluntary basis. We are committed to enabling all interested people to take part in our events, regardless of their financial situation.
